What's a VisionBreak

A VISIONbreak is based on the psychological phenomenon called Pareidolia. This is our natural tendency to see patterns, faces, animals or images in unexpected places.

Have you ever looked into the clouds and found dragon? Do you see a face in the moon? If so, then you have experienced this phenomenon.

VISIONbreak harnesses this idea to inspire creativity, focus, and problem solving skills in everyday life through functional products and gifts.

Let Imagination Lead the Way - How to Take a VISIONBreak

  • Clear Your Head

    This activity is meant for you think in a different way. It's like when you were a kid and you look up into the clouds. Creating a beautiful work of art is not the goal. You could, however, be pleasantly surprised by what you can create.

  • Wonder, What Could It Be?

    Turn the card and look at it from all directions. Look at the dark and light parts. Look at the edges and shapes. Do you see anything in the paint blob that could become something else?

  • Grab a Pen & Doodle

    Use a pen. Any pen will do, but we like fine point felt tip pens! Don’t worry if you think you can’t draw. Add your own lines, dots, dashes, and shapes on top of the watercolor to transform it into whatever you envision.
